Snorkeling in Caspian Sea

Iran also called Persia, and officially the Islamic Republic of Iran, is a country in Western Asia. The Caspian Sea or Mazandaran Sea is the largest lake in the world. This lake is a lake that has characteristics like the sea: salty water and very wide, located above the oceanic crust , and surrounded by sandy land like the coast. That's why this lake is often called the sea. This lake is located between Europe and Asia, which is in the countries of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Iran, Turkmenistan, and Russia. The area of ​​this lake is about 390,000 km , while its average volume is 78,000 km .        

These waters stretch for 1030 km from north to south, with a width of 200 to 400 km from west to east. The surface of the Caspian Sea is about 27 m below sea level. The main water supply for these waters comes from the longest river in Europe, the Volga River , which empties into the far north. The northern part of the waters has a fairly shallow bottom, while the middle and southern parts are deep waters. In the southern part, the bottom of the water can reach a depth of up to 1025 m below sea level.    

The Caspian Sea is a habitat for various species of animals and plants. The Caspian fauna reaches 1800 species. Of these, 415 are vertebrates, 101 are fish species, there are global stocks of sturgeon. Freshwater fish such as common carp, zander, roach live here. Goldfish, salmon, pike, freshwater fish are caught in the sea. The Caspian is the habitat of one of the mammals, namely the seal. While the plants that live here include blue-green, brown, and red algae. Zoster and rupiah also grow, they are referred to as flowering algae.

Plankton introduced by birds to the sea begins to bloom in spring, the sea is mostly covered with greenery and rhizolation. During the paint flowering most of the sea is filled with yellow and green. The accumulation of rhizo-salinity is very dense so that the waves can be calm. In some places, along the coast algal meadows have grown.
