Vietnam, officially the Socialist Republic of
Vietnam, is a country in Southeast Asia. Located at the eastern edge of mainland
Southeast Asia, it covers 311,699 square kilometers. With a population of
over 96 million, it is the world's fifteenth-most populous country. Vietnam
borders China to the north, Laos and Cambodia to the west, and shares maritime
borders with Thailand through the Gulf of Thailand, and the Philippines,
Indonesia, and Malaysia through the South China Sea. Its capital is Hanoi
and its largest city is Ho Chi Minh City.
The Golden Bridge is a 150-metre-long (490 ft)
pedestrian bridge in the Bà Nà Hills resort, near Da Nang, Vietnam. It is
designed to connect the cable car station with the gardens (avoiding a steep
incline) and to provide a scenic overlook and tourist attraction. The
bridge loops nearly back around to itself, and has two giant hands, constructed
of fiberglass and wire mesh, designed to appear like stone hands that support
the structure.
Asian Destinations Readers can walk on a curved
bridge that is 150 meters long and 12.8 meters wide. This is an experience in
itself, because the beauty of the scenery that is presented spoils the eyes for
every visitor. Located at an altitude of 1,400 meters above sea level, the
view from the Golden Bridge makes you feel like you are in a land above the
clouds.
In the morning sometimes the view of the forest
under the bridge is foggy. Since it was first opened in June 2018, Golden
Bridge has attracted many visitors, tourists visiting Vietnam have also
increased with an average of 1.5 million visitors every year.
The combination of a unique design and stunning
scenery makes many people interested in taking pictures and taking selfies at
this Golden Bridge. Some even did a pre-wedding photo shoot on this
bridge. Walking down the Golden Bridge with two giant hands that looks
like supporting the bridge is like walking with God's hands supporting the
bridge.
Asian Destinations Readers can visit when the
sun goes down for a great view around the Golden Bridge.
